Our Agency's Mission
Paw of Duty is committed to enhancing the mental health and well-being of veterans and their families through comprehensive support services. Our mission is to prevent veteran suicide by providing community outreach, suicide prevention education, support groups, non-clinical counseling, case management, and assistance in connecting veterans with VA and community resources.
Organizational History:
Founded in 2025, Paw of Duty was established in response to the growing need for effective suicide prevention strategies among veterans. Recognizing the alarming statistics surrounding veteran suicide, our founders sought to create a holistic support system that addresses both mental health challenges and the unique experiences of veterans.
Paw of Duty desires to focus on community outreach and case management to raise awareness about the importance of mental health and suicide prevention. We have VA developed educational programs that inform veterans and their families about available resources, community supports, and the benefits of companionship through our Companion Dog Program. Our organization has quickly gained traction, forming partnerships with local veteran organizations and mental health professionals to ensure that our services are accessible and effective.

Our Journey
